Clear methods, thoughtful use

How we calculate.

A result is more useful when you understand where it comes from. This page explains the principles we use to build SOULTRIANGLE tools, how we distinguish calculations from interpretations, and what to keep in mind when reading a result.

Clarity before certainty

Astrology and numerology are spiritual, cultural, and interpretive traditions, not scientifically established ways to determine a person’s character or predict what will happen. Our tools are designed for learning and personal reflection, not guaranteed answers about destiny.

1. Each tool has its own method

There is no single formula that applies to every astrology or numerology tool. A numerology calculator may use a documented digit-reduction convention, while an astrology tool may depend on birth details, astronomical positions, time-zone handling, or a particular interpretive framework. We aim to explain the method relevant to each tool on its own page rather than imply that all tools work the same way.

Where a tradition has more than one accepted convention, we should name the convention being used and explain how it affects the result. If a method or data source has not been verified, we should not present it as authoritative.

2. Calculations and interpretations are different

A calculation is the procedure used to transform an input into an output. An interpretation is the meaning that a tradition or framework associates with that output. We aim to keep those steps distinct, so visitors can see what the tool calculated and understand that the accompanying description is an interpretation, not a measured scientific fact.

  • Inputs: We explain which details a tool needs and why they matter.
  • Method: We describe the formula, convention, or data approach used where applicable.
  • Output: We show the result in plain language and identify relevant assumptions.
  • Interpretation: We use balanced wording and avoid claiming that a result determines a person’s life or future.

3. Accuracy depends on the information provided

Some tools can work from a date alone. Others may require an accurate birth time, birthplace, time zone, or additional details. If a required input is missing or uncertain, the result may be limited or unavailable. We should not claim precise chart placements or timing when the necessary data and calculation method cannot support that precision.

Please check your entries before calculating. A small input difference can matter for tools that rely on time or location. If you believe a result is incorrect, use our Contact page and include the tool name, the non-sensitive example inputs, and what you expected to see.

4. Sources, conventions, and examples

Where a tool relies on a published convention, reference source, or astronomical data source, its page should identify the relevant source and explain how it is used. Worked examples should use clearly stated inputs and show the steps needed to understand the output. We do not use a source name as decoration, and we do not describe a method as scientifically proven simply because it is traditional or widely used.

This page describes our general approach. The specific method, assumptions, example, and limitations for a particular calculator belong on that calculator’s own page, where they can be reviewed alongside the tool.

5. How we review and improve tools

Before a tool is considered ready, its inputs and outputs should be checked against its documented method, common input errors should be handled clearly, and the interface should remain usable on mobile and with a keyboard. When an issue is reported or a method changes, the page should be reviewed and updated where needed. We aim to make material changes clear rather than leave visitors relying on outdated explanations.

6. What results can, and cannot, tell you

Use SOULTRIANGLE as a starting point for curiosity, learning, or self-reflection. Results should not be treated as certain predictions or as a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or relationship advice. You remain the decision-maker in your own life; no calculator can determine your worth, choices, or future.

Have a question about a result?

If something seems unclear or inconsistent, tell us which tool you used and what happened. Specific, non-sensitive examples help us investigate more effectively.
